The Aditya Birla World Academy Sports Scholarship Programme is designed to recognise and promote sporting excellence and support exceptional student-athletes. It is available for students of Grades 8 and 11.
This prestigious scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate outstanding achievement in sports, leadership qualities, a healthy competitive spirit and the ability to balance academics with athletic commitments. Covering part or full tuition fees, the scholarship will be awarded for the following duration:
- Two years for students of Grade 11 (Grades 11 and 12)
- Three years for students of Grade 8 (Grades 8, 9, and 10)

A structured and rigorous selection process ensures that the most deserving students receive the Scholarship.
Eligibility
This opportunity is available to a student who has excelled in any particular sport (individual or team) at the state, national, or international level. The student must have demonstrated consistent effort and progress in their chosen sport.
Step 1: Application & Document Submission
For External Applicants:
Along with the online admission application, students must complete and upload the ABWA Scholarship Application Form (SAF) along with:
1. Statement of Purpose (SOP) outlining goals and aspirations in the chosen field of sport
2. Supporting Sports Documents
Step 2: Meeting with the Chairperson & Scholarship Committee
The shortlisted applicants will be invited for an interaction with the Chairperson and the Scholarship Committee. This is an opportunity for students to share their mindset, aspirations, and vision.
Following this, the scholarship decision will be announced. The decision made by the Chairperson and Scholarship Committee will be final.
