At ABWA, we constantly debate the role of the school in a child’s life, always questioning what success looks like for us. We’ve hit some big milestones in recent years: occupying 6th place in the all-India international school rankings, and coming in 2nd in Mumbai rankings. While such recognition is good motivation, what really drives us is whether we can, at the end of the day, truly say that we have successfully helped each student to identify, appreciate and tap into their unique potential. We live in a rapidly-changing world and our children have access to more information than ever before. They are more connected and also more likely to work in multicultural and constantly- evolving settings. As educators, it is critical that we focus not just on our children’s academic potential but also their emotional intelligence, equipping them to deal with change and diversity. At ABWA, the school environment is geared towards fostering positivity and resilience; the two key traits that help you adapt to any given situation, and that have been found through various studies to be present in all successful (and happy) people. We are committed towards nurturing talent and encouraging students to let their imagination fuel their passions. My hope for every ABWA student is that personal excellence is not just circumstantial and a one-off, but what they will be able to work towards to make a life-long certainty. We seek to empower a new community of thinkers and creators, who make a tangible and positive difference wherever they go. We remain, at the core, an institution that recognises and celebrates a globalised world while also keeping intact an Indian soul.

Each and Every day …
Each and Every Child …
I have the power, the passion, the skill and the knowledge
To make a difference …
Each and Every day …
Each and Every Child …
… these words hold the very essence of what we at Aditya Birla World Academy endeavour to achieve – To make a difference.
A School is always a 'world in miniature' where one receives 'training for life', where effective and meaningful learning takes place. It is here that one learns to accept challenges, rejoice at victories, face defeat and develop resilience. If we can make our students enjoy their childhood whilst we create in them sensitivity to life issues, we can proudly say that we are well on the path laid down in our mission to "nurture the innate potential of our students and mould them into passionate, committed, competent, sensitive, value based individuals with leadership qualities." Every school upholds the values it stands for with conviction, thereby creating its own identity and ethos. We have a strong commitment to the emotional well-being of our students. We wish to provide a safe atmosphere for our children where they can walk the journey of their learning with confidence and joy. We offer a plethora of curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular disciplines to tap each child's unique potential and fuel their curiosity and passion to learn new things. Leonardo da Vinci said, "Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return." It is our endeavour to give our children the roots to stand strong and the wings to taste such flight and soar to great heights of excellence! Educational Institutions are a plenty, all of which impart a learning, but it is our prayer that our students go out into the world with the strength, not only to reach and excel in their professional aspirations, but to remain beautiful human beings.
