Every stroke counts!
Aditya Birla World Academy students excel at the Pathways Invitational Swimming Meet held in Haryana on 25 and 26 April 2009

Aditya Birla World Academy was the only team from Mumbai to be invited to the Pathways Invitational Swimming Meet, held at Pathways World School, Aravalli Retreat, Haryana on 25 and 26 April 2009. A group of 10 members (eight students and two teachers) started from Mumbai, a little nervous, a little apprehensive but an excited lot looking forward to lots of fun.

In sync: The winning relay team Examinations had just got over. Needless to say, the students were out of practice (but not short the winning spirit), having not entered the pool since the last two months! But once into the pool it was two days of nonstop fun and frolic ignited by a healthy competitive spirit.

As the saying goes, all's well that ends well and we came back with a tally of 22 medals! Indeed commendable for a team that had been out of practice for a while.

We also made our presence felt with our on-the-spot performance for the cultural night.

Last but not the least we learnt that we were as good as any other team, we achieved great heights and aspire to achieve more and are inspired to keep the momentum going!
